After months of speculation, and an extensive tender process, the Black Country Chamber of Commerce have unveiled their new Prosper publishing partner, who will be responsible for helping to relaunch the new look business magazine in the autumn.
Award winning publisher and founder of Interactive Magazines, Steve Parker, has been named as the person who will create a whole new look and feel to the established magazine under the editorship of Chamber Press, PR and Communications Officer, Sarah Thompson.
With over 20 years-experience in editorial design and publishing, Steve will create a bigger and bolder magazine with increased content reflecting the diversity of the region whilst offering more business news, views, interviews, thought leadership and opinion pieces, as well as member news and Chamber updates.
After spending ten years with the Midland News Association as Design Editor, followed by a series of Marketing Director positions in media, health and tech, working with the likes of Microsoft, Intel and Fujitsu, Steve said, “I’m delighted to be working with The Black Country Chamber of Commerce on such an exciting project. Prosper magazine is the region’s longest running business publication and is a well-respected title within the local business community.
“The forthcoming brand relaunch will strengthen the magazine’s existing status and engage readers with an informative and interactive reading experience”.
Steve will oversee editorial design, print management and bespoke online publishing solutions for the Chamber with the new look magazine launching after the summer.
