REBOOTING

Between February and April 2021, Black Country 2.0 will focus on work to Reboot the Black Country economy. 

 

This will include: 

 

  • Maintaining pressure on Number 11 in advance of the forthcoming budget 

  • Publication of Black Country Business Asks  

  • Make the case for Black Country Business in the run up to the local and West Midlands Combined Authority Mayoral elections 

  • Regular virtual briefings for members making sense of the latest announcements and updates 

  • Digital updates provided directly to member inboxes covering aspects of this phase and invitations to exclusive member events 

  • Launch of Director Development Programme 

  • Launch Chamber Think Tank, a dedicated forum for business leaders to help shape the direction of the Chamber’s policy work

BLACK COUNTRY 2.0 CONFERENCE – TOWARDS A NEW BLACK COUNTRY ECONOMY

A blended virtual and in-person conference featuring keynote speakers, Q&As and presentations from economists, business leaders and influencers to explore the progress the region has made following the disruption caused by COVID-19 and BREXIT, successes and best practice in an altered trading landscape and setting the economic focus for future prosperity.
